MARIO BATES
Mario Bates, with over 30 years clean from drug addiction, lends a strong emphasis for rehabiltation under the RIAH Foundation. He founded RIAH in 2009, and as Founder and Executive Director of the RIAH Foundation, Mario bates is committed to providing an alternative environment for urban teens and adults. He stands by the RIAH Foundation mission to help people with hurts, habits and hang-ups, so that they may begin to free themselves from negative burdens, rebuild their lives by redirecting their thinking and to provide them with life coping skills.
RIAH VISION
Our Vision:
We envision a place filled with people able to recover from their “hurts, hang ups and habits”. In our vision, we see an entire neighborhood positively affected and transformed as the people we serve begin to see there is a better way and that they can own their individual power to make our communities better.
Our Mission:
The RIAH Foundation works to develop the skills necessary to increase individual’s self-esteem and sense of accomplishment to recover from hurts, hang ups and habits that prevent them from achieving quality of life. We are committed to being a major provider of after school programs and services that help fulfill the emotional, educational and social needs of people.
